With Mother Nature as her business partner (and one of ours’ too of course) Rachel Woods MSc shares her thoughts on how to improve teamwork and connectedness in the outdoors.
Most recently Rachel was HR Business Partner UK and Ireland for Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition, the specialised healthcare division of Danone food group. Having completed her MSc Coaching and Behavioural Change and now EMCC Accredited as a Senior Practitioner, Rachel has this year launched her own coaching enterprise, Coach in Nature.
To quote Rachel: “Coaching in nature with me is like going for a walk with a friend to talk about yourself and your work…. Neither Nature or I judge you for venting and not paying attention to us…. It’s a liberating experience to have that time walking shoulder to shoulder letting the absence of walls release your thinking. There’s no ceiling (literally) and no constraints to where your mind can wander”.
In this episode our conversation naturally draws on our mutual passion for the outdoors, sharing our thoughts on the lessons Mother Nature – and sheep – can teach us.
