Leading the flock

“I learnt it wasn’t about sheep, it was about leadership, coming together, teamwork, a plan, cooperating with each other and listening to one another.”  – UK & IE HR Operations Manager, IKEA

Our mission

About Us - sheep-decoration2
Raising the Baa is all about helping your people to be happy, connected and fulfilled at work.

People hold the very fabric of your business together (and we’re not talking cotton or nylon). With this in mind, we empower your team to be re-energised, re-connected and ready to launch forward into your organisation’s future.

In short, we look to take teams from great to extraordinary. And have heaps of fun in the process.
About Us-Line

Our story

It all began with an ‘off the cuff’ idea courtesy of our Head Shepherd Chris. At the time, he was working with David Wreathall to organise a programme for his charity Inner Flame, which helps disadvantaged young people to develop self-worth, life-skills, and employability…

Our vision

Beyond our own organisation, we look to make a positive impact in the wider world.

In addition to people development we are, not surprisingly, passionate about agriculture.

Through our core charity partner Ripple Effect (formerly known as Send A Cow), our 5-year vision is to help 150 families in rural Africa out of poverty, working together within their communities to achieve truly sustainable livelihoods.

About Us - sheep-decoration2

Our charity partner Ripple Effect is dedicated to seeing Africa thrive by designing Africa-led solutions. They work across Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi and Zambia to deliver lasting change for marginalised communities.

Our founder and Head Shepherd, Chris, is a proud member of the National Sheep Association which represents the views and interests of sheep producers throughout the UK.

We welcome our clients’ curiosity in all things sheep during our events and our shepherds are always happy to answer their questions.

Our values

About Us - sheep-decoration2

Everything we do is carried out with five core principles in mind. And by sheer coincidence begin with the letters S.H.E.E.P.

Sustainability

Because sustainability in every sense of the word is at the heart of global issues.

Health

Because wellbeing needs attention when workplaces often keep people confined to an office or siloed through homeworking.

Extraordinary

Because teams have already gone from good to great. Now it’s time for the next level.

Empowering

Because both sheep herding challenges and business problems need everyone to contribute and be creative.

Playful

Because it’s scientifically proven that we learn more when we’re having fun 🙂

s – Sustainability
