About Us - Raising The Baa

Once upon a time....

Sheep-herding as a team building activity was an ‘off the cuff’ idea suggested by Chris to David Wreathall, when he was organising the first youth development programme for his fledgeling charity Inner Flame. He was in need of an activity to bond the youngsters at the start of their week, to witness their communication style and to measure their levels of confidence.

Team building with sheep became, and remains, a regular part of every Inner Flame course for teenagers and also now for young adults as part of the Prince’s Trust Team programme, also delivered by Inner Flame.

We have a passion for helping youngsters develop their skills and entrepreneurial spirit so we are committed to staging six charitable programmes each year. If you are connected to an organisation that fits the bill, please get in touch

In 2021 we've tweaked and expanded our activity and are looking forward to helping people celebrate being able to gather together again - and what better way than to get down on the farm and herd sheep? And have a go at spinning some wool too. It's all about ewe :-)
